Why do I need a scalp mask?
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Our new Scalp Mask is highly concentrated in active ingredients to help restore balance and purify your scalp with a micro-exfoliating texture, leaving your skin soothed and refreshed without buildup or residue. It also perfectly prepares your hair for the shampoo and conditioner to come.
Why does it have a jelly-like texture?
We use two naturally-derived thickeners (sclerotium gum and corn starch) into our Scalp Mask, along with white and pink clays that give a creamy-jelly texture to the formula and make it easier to apply and distribute evenly on the scalp.
Will it make my roots oily?
No, our Scalp Mask will deposit a light and thin moisturizing layer on the scalp keeping it hydrated, with none of the oiliness.
How is it different from other scalp masks?
Our Mask is highly concentrated in natural actives and customized to address your exact scalp issues. It's also freshly made to order to keep the actives potent--traditional hair masks decrease in potency while they wait on the shelf for months or years. Since it requires an extended time on the scalp, we want to be sensitive to any possible, well, sensitivities. So instead of adding a perfume, we use super-soothing eucalyptus or grapefruit oils for a light, natural scent that's never irritating.
Can Prose Custom Scalp Mask treat medical conditions like hair loss or dandruff?
