    1. The textured high ponytail

This is perhaps one of the most iconic and effortless hairstyles. If properly tousled, it can create a sexy, bed-head aesthetic. You can wear this hairstyle when running errands, going to the gym, or even during a girls’ night out. This hairstyle can be done with hair straight out of the shower or with hair that’s gone days without a rinse, making it incredibly versatile.

    What you need

    Steps

    1. Begin by applying texturizing spray and volumizing mousse from the roots to your ends (but mostly the roots).
    2. Using a paddle brush, brush your hair back, while pulling it up and backward in a way that aligns with your cheekbones.
    3. After your hair is pulled back into the proper position, use an elastic (or two) to securely tie it back.
    4. Use your fingers to pull out the hair around the crown of your head to make it look slightly more tousled.

    2. Side ponytail

If you thought that the high ponytail was easy, wait until you try its low-key cousin, the side ponytail. Although this look is slightly more romantic, it can still give off cool, effortless vibes while being appropriate for anything from daytime brunch to date night.

    What you need

    Steps

    1. Apply texturizing spray from the roots to the ends, focusing mostly on the ends.
    2. Part your hair in the middle (if it’s better for you, a side part can work, as well).
    3. Gather your hair into a low ponytail on one side and tie it up with a hair elastic.
    4. This last step is optional, but if you wish, you can use a curling iron to add more definition to the ends of your ponytail, making it a bit more flirty and romantic.

    3. The messy half-up

This is the perfect hairstyle for days when you feel like you need a wash, but don’t have time to hop in the shower. It works best with your hair’s natural texture so don’t worry about any unwanted frizz.

    What you need

    Steps

    1. Apply texturizing spray from your roots to your ends.
    2. Gather the top section of your hair — the part that’s above the ears — and tie it up into a high ponytail.
    3. Grab the ponytail, wrap it around itself to create a bun, and secure it with another elastic.
    4. Pull out a few strands from the bun to design your perfect level of messiness, while tousling the hair in the front.

    4. All down with baby braids

This is the ultimate hairstyle to embrace your natural texture while adding a little flair in the form of tiny braids. This hairstyle exudes ultimate boho vibes.

    What you need

    Steps

    1. Apply sea salt spray from roots to ends to accentuate your natural texture (this is optional, of course).
    2. Grab a tiny section of hair and tie it into a tight braid, securing it with a small elastic.
    3. Repeat this process in random places as many times as you want until you get the desired amount of boho.
    4. Leave the rest of your hair loose and free.

    5. Messy low bun

This hairstyle is simultaneously effortless and incredibly glamorous. It’s perfect for special occasions, such as a fancy dinner or a cocktail party, but if you want to break the rules and wear this elegant style while running errands, that’s fine, too!

    What you need

    Steps

    1. Apply texturizing spray all over your hair.
    2. Using a hair comb, create a side part.
    3. Gather your hair into a low ponytail, making sure to leave plenty of volume above it.
    4. Twist the ponytail around itself into a messy bun, securing it with an elastic or bobby pins.
    5. Use your fingers to tousle your hair and pull out random strands for an extra touch of effortless cool. If you have bangs or short layers, now’s the time to let them shine.

    6. Just let it go

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is embrace your natural hair texture and leave it loose. Wavy hair is effortless while also sexy. Make sure to wash your hair with a shampoo made specifically for your hair type. And for your best waves yet, make sure to apply a wave-defining product, like this curl cream, that gives you moisture and smoothness.

    Waves for days

There are tons of options for amazing hairstyles for wavy hair. Just keep in mind that wavy hair can be prone to dryness and breakage so make sure to use hydrating products no matter how you style.
