She has served as the beauty director of Marie Claire, Shape, Real Simple, Redbook and MORE, and contributed freelance articles about beauty, health and lifestyle topics to InStyle,Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Travel & Leisure, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living and Popular Mechanics. She has also produced content and developed brand strategy for global beauty companies including Aveda, Clinique, Origins, Bobbi Brown, L’Oréal, NYX, and Shiseido. She lives in NYC with her husband (who is also an editor and writer) and two children—who will quite likely become writers someday.
