Why is Prose launching a hair oil?
Classic hair oils available in the market today are only efficient for a certain hair type and are usually too heavy for fine or oily hair. We wanted to make our oil available for everyone no matter their hair type, including those with fine and oily hair. We also wanted to create an oil that can meet everyone's hair goals and needs.

What are the benefits of a custom hair oil?
Oil behaves differently on different hair types. We selected a wide range of oils from the most lightweight to the most nutritive to ensure your hair needs. By going custom, we are able to create a blend that matches your hair type and needs.
Can oily or fine hair types use a hair oil?
Absolutely, fine or oily hair can use our Prose custom hair oils and will receive a blend of specially-selected lightweight oils. Most of the hair oils in the market are blends of silicones which are not suitable for oily or fine hair as they make hair limp. Our hair oil is silicone-free, 100% natural, vegan, and will provide just the right amount of nutrition to your hair.
Where were the oil ingredients sourced?
When choosing priority oils, our team studied 300 oils before landing on 30, sourced from all over the world, and chosen for their effectiveness across hair types as well as for their sustainability. We wanted to make sure our oils have a positive social and environmental impact, for example, our Argan Oils come from The Women Cooperative Miracle and our Maracuja Oil comes from seeds discarded from the food industry.
How many different combinations of hair oils are possible?
There are over 35,000 possible hair oil blends, so you can be sure that your hair oil is as unique as you are.
From the selected 30 oils, yours will be a blend of up to 7 oils specifically chosen to match your existing Prose consultation.
Please say there will be vegan versions just like your other products!
All our oils are 100% natural and vegan.
What’s the scent?
All of our oils are fragrance free but have a nice soft and natural smell that comes from natural ingredients as well as an added sweet almond essential oil fragrance.
Will it help with split ends?
We selected three oils, avocado oil, rice bran oil, and blackcurrant oil that have the ability to form a thin layer around the hair fiber to help seal split ends.
What types of hair is oil good for?
Custom hair oil is good for all hair types.

I already have my custom shampoo and conditioner but am trying to add the oil not the mask which I already have. How can I do that. I just put my order in today but cannot find the way to add the oil. pls help thank you elizabeth
