I knew I wanted the natural hair look for my wedding but I didn’t want to deal with my natural hair! So I got this wig from @hautekinkyhair! It’s a u-part wig from their Haute Kinky Curly Collection. Best decision I could have made lol. All I did the day of was wet and brush through the hair using @asiamnaturally Long + Luxe line. I flat twisted the front, added some hair jewelry, and threw on my veil and I was good to go! I was reading an Instagram post last week about how black women always run to straighten their hair for their big moments like graduation or birthdays. A couple of years ago I made the decision to quit doing hair. I decided I would do weddings on weekends till I finished my dental assisting program, and then it would be see you later to the hair industry. What started as a good weekend gig to make money while I was in school ended up becoming my passion. Crazy how life can take you on a journey you would have never expected.
